Death Road to Canada? It's a text based adventure where you need to make a lot of choices from the text events, kind of like Oregon trail, you need to manage your food, medkits and weapons, as well as gas and your own vehicle. The thing that stands out though, is the looting that happens 2 3 times a day where you control a pixel character top down meleeing zombies. Game has many cool and random moments and silly characters

I highly recommend that game

Hammerwatch (not sure about Heroes of Hammerwatch, likely the same) supports local coop up to 4 players ( 1 keyboard and 1 controller tested, so it should work with 1+2 too ^^ )
