You can't give/trade items registered to your "library" only. Inventory is tradable.

I can read.

I loathed doing Blue Book exams. I understand the functional reasons for it, but my handwriting is so atrocious that its difficult for the teachers to read, and is so poor that even I find it distracting. I write pretty well, but having to slow down my mental processes to accommodate handwriting is simply counter-productive. I can't even imagine having to read a stack of Blue Book exams.
Happy Funemployment!

'I don't like things in my inventory when I'm drinking.'
Probably the most easily quotable line in real life lol
I can't imagine what being a teacher is like, but it sounds like a damn hard job. It could be for the best. I'm sure you'll be able to find a better job! ^.^

Only if you're a good teacher. )
i sympathize with your predicament. I teach K-12 and was brought into 7th Grade History to turn around a mess, once. I got the class back on track (they had been about 6 weeks behind), got the students up to speed, planned out the next semester, and then they "let me go."
Nice. P
While I understand the school's desire to replace me with a fully-qualified teacher (I'm a sub), I felt bad for the kids when I found out the "fully qualified" replacement couldn't do the job properly. Sometimes, Life sucks. (
Anyway, I hope you find another position, soon.

I've actually had my eye on that game, when was it given away free? And when was it under a buck? I would've bought it for that price, damn it...
Anyway, have fun with the drinks for now, I'm sure you'll find another job soon :)

You could make a thread asking for people who's interested in it and then pick a comment using random.org or making people that have this game on their wishlist comment on a thread and the one who had this game the longest time gets it. I don't know if you'd consider this a good idea.

"smokes a pipe in front of "no smoking" signs"
That was me when I was an undergraduate.

I don't normally make threads, or comment on threads much, but liquor opens me up. And I also have a question.
My semester is over. This is good because I didn't have to sit through exams. I give my classes a choice between writing a five page paper and taking a written exam or writing a ten-fifteen page paper (or an appropriate project). This semester, every student took the paper/project option. And so I was able to quickly figure out final grades (fifteen pages typed is faster to read twice, markup, and grade than a scribbled over blue book). Submitted, done. And since my semester is over, that means I am now unemployed. The school is cutting back on adjuncts for the fall and that one is the junior on the totem pole gets kicked out the door. Which is me. Not that big of a deal, they would probably have chosen me if they had to choose one according to subjective standards. Male, Soviet and military history, just an MA and not a PhD, doesn't attend meetings, smokes a pipe in front of "no smoking" signs. That's all she wrote.
Anyway.
On to the question: A while back I purchased a steam copy of Realms of the Haunting and put it in my inventory. It was under a buck and I had enough steam money to cover it from selling trading cards on the market. I had intended to give it to a friend, but he apparently got it from GOG (as did I, a long ways back). And the site here doesn't have it as a title to giveaway. I assume that means it was given away free at some point.
It's a great game. FPS, point and click adventure, FMV game. It has a fairly original story, which keeps the game going. It's designed well and looked great at the time and still looks OK now.
So the question, what would be the best way to ensure that someone can enjoy this game and it doesn't keep rotting in my inventory? Can you trade inventoried games? Or maybe there's a way I can set up a giveaway parallel to this site and unload it that way?
I don't like things in my inventory when I'm drinking.
