A game for me is something to chew over and fail until you don't. When success comes there is a feeling of ownership and happiness and something that some will gloat over for their struggles being overcome.
A story is something to read and think about, maybe even be elated by occasionally in a way that only stories can bring. Sharing your thoughts with others who have experienced it is without authority and with a sense of comradery.
As for games, I don't do chance or play with others ;)

Death and Taxes seems somewhat interesting, and so does Pale Beyond though resource management survival is hit ans miss for me.
