I just got Bioshock from one of my awesome friends! It makes me wonder, what is the best game you've gotten from a friend?

EDIT: Sweet! I got Spec Ops: The Line and Bioshock 2 from a friend! Still, the best one for me was Civilization V. Too good. Why else do you think my Steam username is "Emperor Gandhi?"

None. I've never been gifted a game from a friend for any occasion. I've gifted before. I've stopped gifting. Its all for the best. Everyone can buy their own games they like. A gift based economy is something for the minds of super contributor club groups on steamgifts.

Uh, what's the definition of "best"? One that I liked/played the most? One that cost the most?
I liked Fallout: New Vegas and full DLCs the most and played it the most. Cost? Probaby Skyrim when it came out. Other ones of note: Prison Architect, Borderlands, DayZ, Rust, XCCOM: Enemy Unknown and Enemy Within, Morrowind, Anno2070.

Nothing. I'm the only one among my friends that is active enough on steam to be in the habit of gifting friends games.

Well, it was in truth a package but... Quakecon Pack 2013! Came with Elders Scrolls 3, 4 and 6, All Dooms, All Quakes, Herectic, Hexen 1 and 2, Wolfenstein, Rage, Dishonored, etc.
Even "Commander Keen" was included! :)

Grandia III for the PS2. Wasn't even a birthday present or anything, he literally just said "Here I don't want this, you can have it." Original case, booklet, and mint-condition discs.

Risk of Rain (Actually is the only game that I've ever received from a friend as a gift, but it's a pretty good game nonetheless.)

Borderlands 2 on the PS3 near launch date (birth month is October). Still haven't touched it beyond first mission; kept telling myself to finish BL1.

Haven't touched that one either since around same time.
