Until yesterday - the last time I was in Fanatical - I saw the bundle. But now I saw that I can see the bundle on their start page - and can also view it - but I can't buy it - yesterday I could.

Please, read carefully, what I wrote. I literally sent the request to buy the bundle, since I don't have the normal "buy" button, and got the response above from fanatical API. If it was possible to do yesterday, it's no longer the case.

Clicking the link doesn't show a comment that would explain it though or a posted screenshot of Fanatical's statement regarding "do not receive any compensation". Was that comment that you've linked deleted?
Anyways, I've contacted their support about the issue yesterday myself after purchasing and was told this afternoon, that the issue is forwarded from support to fanatical.com directly. They'll get back to me once they have an answer regarding the issue. So I'm a little confused about that statement above.

The "Explanation" was meant to point to the article you posted, not to why German customers don't receive any compensation.
You might get some kind of compensation if you email them and ask for a partial refund (I doubt that they can provide you Germany specific keys) but otherwise there is no compensation at the moment for German customers that buy this without complaining about being unable to activate the keys.
On the one hand, it's Fanatical's fault to claim that the bundle is redeemable in Germany when 2 games are clearly not.
On the other hand, the subs for these games explicitly exclude Germany from activation.
Edit: I just saw now that they added a "Will not activate in Germany" warning.

Oh, that's what you meant - no automatic compensation or replacement (maybe even with something else). Yeah, no. To my knowledge there's no German version of the game so certainly no country specific keys for us. We'll see what support has to tell me these days about it.

I feel like an idiot -- there were 3 games I didn't own, so I bought it and gave the others away... including one of the THREE GAMES I DIDN'T OWN.
