I liked Days Gone.
Horizon Zero Dawn is essentially very pretty with good potential, but the story's really cheaply written with it being very similar to a CW teenage drama and the gameplay being insanely unpolished with spongy enemies even when fighting perfectly and just a general sense of sloppiness for me.
Whether it's the badly implemented dodge mechanic, the flat movement models, inconsistent level design with climbable objects not being climbable most of the time and just a general sense of gameiness with everything being a numeric value and almost like a more sleek version of a spreadsheet doing calculations.
I'm not sure what people found in Horizon, but I'd go for Days Gone. It's not a masterpiece, but I feel like with the hype everyone gives Horizon, it won't be as much of a disappointment.

Horizon is an incredible game and playing it is the kind of experience that stays with you and that you will never forget. It's that immersive of a game world that you move through. At least it was for me.

Both game for 20-20 euro. I want to play with something, but can't choose.
Which one do you recommend?
