[Free] Fist of Awesome on Humble Store [ENDED]

It may have been free to subscribers and 1 cent to everyone else to try to cut down some of the bots farming free keys.
That's as near as I can guess, anyway.

Mm, guess so, that makes sense. Just weird that they wouldn't make it go on longer, then. Seems almost like more of a slip-up 🤔

I have a guess for that as well - they probably had a limited number of keys (more of a clearance thing, since the game no longer has a store page on Humble).

The game is free on Android and going free on Steam soon.

I'd still say they tried to make it free on Steam and just removed the price instead of setting it free or free2play, just like they made it free on HB in some regions but not all. At least this is a much better way to mess things up than revoking tons of keys. :)

Also isn't it a Steam rule that free somewhere must be followed by free on Steam.

well that's for sure, revoking thousands of keys puts everybody in trouble XD yeah I agree, let's see what happens if they are really trying to put it back up for free in the next days =)

The game is free to play on Steam now. So either the dev intends to leave it like that forever or he mixed up free to keep and free to play.
