The most ridiculous ban you will ever hear

My thoughts? You were rude to an admin (and wrong) and got temporarily banned then came here to whine about it.

Some games do give an extra copy. I'm hardly surprised you got banned for being a smart ass.

I got banned for saying that Britney Spears is an ugly bitch. Reason: offence. I could understand a ban for bad language, but offence is kinda curious since she addresses as a bitch by herself.

I was banned for a week before on a site for saying "This is a bit suspicious, but why the heck not. Not really loosing anything anyway."

Also been banned from a TF2 server once for using foul language when I said "What the.. what just happened?" in voice chat. I said it right after someone did something that did not make sense with the game mechanics. The guy was a sniper.. using a strange sniper rifle.. and he sniped 6 people, ( headshots ) 2 of them where inside and not outside, all within 2 or 3 seconds. Keep in mind though I found out later from a friend it was the admin who was the sniper.. So he prob got sensitive about the fact that he was cheating.

You were rude and he was right, some keys gives you extra copies.

I was banned for 3 days in LOL for saying you do not play well.
I have not insulted nothing!

I once joined a Killing Floor match where 4 out of the 5 players waited at the trader, and the other one left was being pursued by the last enemy of the wave and didn't do anything about it. I waited about 4 minutes so that he finishes it, but it seemed like he didn't want to. Asked the rest what's going on, then the high almighty admin said something like this:

"FRENCH SERVER ONLY SPEAK FRENCH NO ENGLISH OR BAN"

Not even shitting you, that's how it looked. So I replied "Ah, okay. I'll shut up then" since I don't speak surrenderese, to which I got permabanned. I laughed for a few minutes and didn't touch KF ever since.

Well, not because of the incident though, that game bores me for whatever reason, but I come back to it every once in a while...

The admin was technically correct in that a few games have different versions based on things like regions, and sometimes it's possible to own both. At least, that's what I think they meant.

But come on, "how are you even an admin here" was pretty confrontational of you. Banning you for it may have been a bit draconian, but it doesn't seem very surprising.

You were rude to the admin so it's not very surprising he suspended you + he was right, some games do give extra copies if you already own the game.

first - you are wrong; there are a couple of games (ex: torchlight) which will give you a copy in that case
second - not everyone likes flaming attitudes. I'd also give you a warning for such a commentary.

It is not ridiculous it was karma for being trying to be a smartass and undermining admins.

more because you were rude i'd assume... you can correct someone but saying "how are you even an admin here" is more than a little offensive considering responding to questions has nothing to do with moderating a site

So question, say i won a giveaway for, something Resident Evil... could i give that gift to a friend considering he does not have the time for messing around trying his luck? Or is that not allowed

They probably have a rule against arguing with admins which, based on you calling him out by questioning his authority, you violated. Was the admin heavy-handed? Probably. Is it your place to go into someone's house and tell them how to act? No. If you don't like it then get out of their house.
