I want to buy an new laptop with the specs :

Intel core i5 5200U (dual core)
8 GB ram
Nvidia Geforce GT 840M
8 GB cache SSD

Is this decent enough to run those programms normally?

Why wouldn't it? The elements in it need 10-yo dual-core or hyper-threaded CPUs and 2 GB+ RAM. We ran them fine on old dual-core i3s at the office with 4 GB memory.

Looks good enough. I am using some of the creative cloud programs regularly and never had problems except when I'm overdoing it while video editing. The specs of my laptop are:
i5 2450m
6 GB ram
GT 520mx

As far as I can tell so it should be ok with your specs

CC is a lot of very different programs, which one?

it's probably fine, good that the gpu is separate from cpu, but isnt there a better cpu? what price is this?

Better CPU? Why? It's an almost brand new line (4 months old) with next to no power consumption for insane performance for a laptop CPU.

er, age has nothing to do with it, the only good thing is it's only 7watts, but dualcore with HT is not 'insane performance' at all, especially when rendering

my laptop cpu is from 2011, quadcore, faster in all cases, 45watts

It may be, but CC mostly means Photoshop and Illustrator; maybe Acrobat, Flash, and InDesign. Neither of those need half of the computing capacity that CPU has on a single core.

before you ask, i use a notebook with an core i7 740qm, 6gb ram and a geforce 425m to run 3dsmax 2016, autocad 2016 and a few more...

btw, forget about dual or quad core, that doesnt mean anything
check the benchmarks

It can mean something, if you use a lot of plug-ins though. Some of those support multi-threaded calculations.
But his single-core performance should be fine too.

yes and no, but mostly no
single core perf. is fine

"8 GB cache SSD"

Does that mean the entire storage capacity of the computer is only 8GB, or is there also a hard drive?

ahahah no, it means that the laptop use this 8gb of SSD to startup the laptop or other programs. (its fasters then without), this chache SSD makes the laptop boot up within 5 sec

In that case it should be fine.
