The old Tomb Raider games (Laurence Cadol is Lara's voice, better than any voice in english versions in my opinion)
The Assassin's Creed series (decent voice acting)
The Batman Arkham games (decent voice acting for secondary characters, awful Batman voice actor)
American McGee's Alice (excellent renowned voice actors)
The Legacy of Kain series (excellent renowned voice actors, AMAZING french version)
edit : Sam & Max Hit the Road had great voice acting too.

I think you should try to go to a french forum (and practice your writing skills) since they mostly don't really bother using english at all (except for IT/business/academics).
Although, maybe it would be even better to just watch french cinema non stop for a couple of months :)
Other useful options would be any books in french, switching the language of your phone/Windows, googling and reading Wikipedia articles like a local would do.
I did that for two years in english, and didn't really think about it until I realized I was able to speak and write 'properly'.

The Witcher 3. The quality of the French localization is so fucking good, a lot of voice actor are well know actors and the subtitles are perfect (if you also want them).
Otherwise, a lot (if not all) of Ubisoft games have really good French version (I would even say superior to the EN version but my opinion is a bit biased here, I guess).

The Witcher 2's localization is also pretty decent, to me, although not perfect.

bioshock in french is awesome. now I want to say that each game I play in french is good and understandable. If you want to watch some funny videos about games I advice you fantabob show and joueur du grenier, they make good videos with a clear voice ^^

Depending on your proficiency level, some kids games like Freddi Fish or Pajama Sam might be a good starting point. Like with kid's TV shows, they usually take the time to enunciate the words clearly.
I can't help you very much with other games, because even though I'm french speaking, I play 99% of my games in English anyway. (I'd rather play the original version, as it was designed.) The only exception is Sang-Froid because it's made right here in Québec and doesn't sound like the dubbing done in France.

Half Life 2 series for instance, Shadow Man probably and Clive Barkers Jericho (I mean it was tolerable),
however Harry Potter games on pc had an awful french voice acting IMHO
its a shame that the first deux ex never got any french voicedub version to my knowledge

Hi, everyone! My question might sound weird at first but I'd like to ask French speaking people - what games in their opinion have really good French localization (French voice acting)?
The reason I'm asking this is that we learn something much easier and faster if we entertain ourselves at the same time. English is not my native language but I play all the games and watch all the TV shows in English to keep my language skills at a decent level, so why not do something like that with French
My French level is around intermediate (well probably worse since I haven't practiced for a long time); I like point&click adventures like Deponia and Broken Sword (currently playing the second game in the series), fps rpgs like Deus EX Human Revolution or story rich fps like Bioshock games, but all the suggestions are welcome
Thanks in advance for your help!
