Wizardry it is good. I will surely buy. But with discount. I played long ago. Now I won't play.

The Dark Spire is probably more directly influenced by Wizardry than Etrian Odyssey. Didn't make it very far in it though. Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land is pretty nice too.
Been wanting to pick up Elminage Original eventually, especially if the price drops or it goes on sale (since it's a bit buggy/poorly translated)

Yeah, I've been meaning to get that game but it still goes for $40 brand new. It looks pretty damn sweet, I love the art style.
Elminage is another game I want to try out. That's the one where you can put pictures of your party members right? That and the Class of Heroes series I want to get a PSP for.
Also another dungeon crawler I'm looking forward to is Generation Xth:Code Hazard. Another Japanese dungeon crawler currently being translated by some group. They released a demo if you want to give it a try.

Might aswell just play every Shin Megami Tensei game, even when they're 3D. Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga are my favorites, SMT 2 close behind.
On another note, I goddamn love Devil Summoner 2.

Yeah, I'm a huge MegaTen fanatic, I only listed the first-person dungeon crawlers I played.
Haven't played Nocturne or DDS since they're troublesome to find in stores so I'll order them online once I get money.
Also playing through SMT IV, and some of the demon designs are just terrible. I wonder why Kaneko didn't help out.

Eye of the Beholder 1&2, Lands of Lore 1 -> Westwood classics
Might & Magic 4 & 5 -> combined together for the bonus chapter
I also played a good sci-fi based one back in the day, but can't remember the name at the moment :(
Oh, and honorable mentions to:
Terminator: 2029 -> Which plays like a strange mix of dungeon crawler and regular FPS thanks to the tile-based movement.
Dungeon Hack -> Rogue-like equivalent to Eye of the Beholder

All the screenshots for Wizardry 7 are taken from GOG, not just the 3rd. The screenshots for Wizardry 6, except the first one, are the same as on GOG, but those might have been taken by the publisher/developer and not by the guys on GOG.

Now let's hope that the Might and Magic series lands on Steam. I know VI is a bonus for buying X, so they might all be coming soon. And then we should travel back to the goldbox D&D games too.

Shin Megami Tensei - Strange Journey and Grimrock are my favorites. I've played all of the same ones the OP has, oddly enough. Etrian Odyssey is okay. Shining in the Darkness and Phantasy Star were good when they came out, but they're awful now.
The Dark Spire is cool.
I assume we're only talking about 1st person dungeon crawling games? Most of the best ones are top-down.

Oh yeah, totally forgot about Arx Fatalis. Such a good game, but also so unbalanced between character classes.

Oh, cool beans. I have Wizardry Crusaders of the Dark Savant on disk. :D

Might & Magic for me, really enjoyed VI, and enjoyed VII and VIII, and IX wasn't too bad, have to admit haven't given the earlier ones a go as yet (though got 1 through 6 off GOG).
Other 'classic' RPGs I'm a fan of and so will plug, though not strictly of same type, are Baldur's Gate etc, the Ultima series, and Avernum series (indie games, still having remakes done today and available on steam)

Since this about dungeon crawling in general as well, I'd like to say that I'm really looking forward to Legend of Grimrock 2. It looks great so far and seems like it will be a big improvement over the first game.
The Wizardry games haven't aged very well graphics-wise, which decreases my desire to play them. I might play them at some point though.

Only 6-8? I preferred the old 1-5, probably for nostalgia.

So today Wizardry 6, Wizardry 7, and Wizardry 8 came out on steam today!
I've been playing this one dungeon crawling game on the 3DS lists as Wizardry as their biggest influence and I've been enjoying it as I have with the previous entries in the series. By far my favorite genre.
Anyone recommend any Dungeon Crawling games? I always wanted to more into the genre but I only played japanese dungeon crawlers (with the exception of Legend of Grimrock which was..alright)
Here's the ones that I've played
Etrian Odyssey series - Untold looks amazing
Phantasy Star 1 - Suffers from the "I don't know where to go next" problem that most early RPGs had at the time, but aside from that a very impressive Sega Master System game.
Shin Megami Tensei - 1, 2, and Strange Journey. Plan on getting Soul Hackers later on and Persona when I get a PSP/Vita.
Shining in the Darkness - Played it a long time ago, was having lots of fun. Never got past the first dungeon.
What about you guys and girls?
