I always thought about this problem. If I bump, it means potentially more entires, therefore less chance for me to win. But however, my chance to win always remaines %50 against any of the entrances, so statistically it is incorrect. It's just luck. Bump.

This also buzzes me a lot. Statisctics can be a tricky bitch.
Imagine a giveaway with over 100 billion entries. That means 0.0000000000100 chance for a single person. For a machine that surpasses its epsilon which is roughly 6.45e-8, and for a machine, an epsilon means simply 0. So the more entires, the higher your chance that your chance to win becomes 0. BUT, if you apply this to every singly entry, it means all entries have 0 possibility to win, who wins in that case.
