Cruel ninja strikes back

I have 4 keys for games I already have, so I can give them away here. But for those, who always missed such giveaways because of ninjas I slightly modified the rules:

Middle part (in []) was alpha sorted, that mean for D7YAV i wrote 7ADVY - that makes only 120 combinations for each giveaway ;) (total 480 to check :P) , try if you feel lucky :)

As much as I appreciate the key drop, this is nearly impossible. Steam locks you out from redeeming keys for one hour once you enter 5 invalid/duplicated keys.

what bobofatt said has been true for around a year now.
[edit] (I don't think this one is that bad since I imagine there's a good number of people that can try it, and although many of them will try the same code, it doesn't seem unlikely that eventually one of them will hit it, though the others will get the 1hr lockout.) [/edit]

what's the message it's giving you?
(it won't tell you straight-up that they aren't working anymore)
[edit] the way to test is if you have an unused definitely-valid key that you don't mind testing on -- it should still give you an error message until the hour (not actually sure what the timeout length is) is up [/edit]

It doesn't tell you when you're locked out. If it did then people would stop trying. They want you to waste your time. :P

Hm, then how long before the 5 tries are reset? Because I know I've done 5 wrongs, then less than an hour later get a working key that activates.
Also if enter the keys posted below for Uplink or Multiwinia I'll get Dup error. And I've done at least 40 invalids by now.

People always say this but I never get locked out no matter how many failed attempts. I guess its only for certain people for some reason.

Here PewnyPL got key in 45th try, so either rule is for some ppl only, or it's kind of urban legend... or steam activates it when too many ppl try to check free codes

it's not an urban legend. you get locked out for an hour and all valid keys will show as invalid.

Are you telling me that with 120*3 different possible combinations, Arpione got the right 3 within 15 tries?

Yep, I'm just that good :)
Just kidding, it actually took about 150 guesses to get them all. Maybe this lock out thing only applies to accounts that only have a few games.

maybe it was rolled back recently in one of the updates. it was consistently 5 and you're locked out for an hour. http://forums.thedailywtf.com/forums/p/26700/304470.aspx

Multiwinia: about 60
Darwinia: even more than Multiwinia

It goes quite fast if you have the right method
