I already owned Magicka, but the activation worked perfect. and has a new entry in the activation list, but not in the lib. and no +1

I said that a couple of days ago. I had magicka + crusader kings II retail license or something like that. And the new one activated as magicka retail. Steam doesnt check if you own a game. It just checks if you have the specific license.

Steam does check that you own an app, though Paradox is known for creating a bunch of DLC app numbers and attach them to different packages just to make user consumes the key when they get it from different sources,

so turns out my down to one game sucks more then i thought. not only would i never want to play it it doesnt run... it runs so little i cant even farm the cards. it starts up then goes NAHHHHHHH and quits it self. plus even if i did no one plays the damn game! makes me wish for goocublets again or those other rubbish at least i know they work!
