Erm... spore? no... just no
It looks great! And it seems fun to play. Each player gets his own planet where he start his game.... so size of the game will be HUGE. Galactic fights also looks great.
IMHO it is second best at E3 this year (first is Witcher III)

No Man's Sky reminds me of Spore because of randomly generated worlds with randomly generated creatures. It's like you can always discover something new.
Also, I found an old article about No Man's Sky, which you can find here. The most interesting part for me is:
"You’ll get credit for discovering it. You’ll also, if the materials there are valuable, attract players to come visit. No Man’s Sky isn’t a multiplayer game, in as much as you’ll never see another player. But the galaxy is the same between everyone and actions of “significance” will be shared. If you kill a single bird, that won’t be shared. If you make an entire species of bird extinct, then those creatures will blink out of existence for everyone. That means you might want to keep quiet about a planet of valuable resources, so others don’t come and deplete it. I also instantly start thinking of ways to be devious. Can I upload false information to the galactic map? Can I lure people to a system full of pirates and then, when their ships crash and burn, steal materials from their ghostly hulls?". That sounds pretty awesome. It would be nice if there was an option for some jolly cooperation though.

If they won't give up on this idea, yeah, it seems you could do that. I actually like the idea of connected world, where each decision might affect permanently both your world and of other players. With that everything could be changing all the time, making each gameplay completely different.

The game does look beautiful. Have to see more to know what the game is about.
Hope it comes to PC too, because if it's PS4 exclusive I doubt I'll play it.

They just did an interview with GameSpot. They said you could fly endlessly since the universe is totally random generated ad infinite. And that you could play for millions for hours and you still would've seen lass then 1% of the game...
If thats true, then my mind has been blown.

I don't feel the hype, tbh, and I certainly don't see any amazing gameplay, other then cruising around in a glider :3

Looks ambitious as fuck for a little company as Hello Games, just saying. But i'm looking forward to it.

I'm concerned in case I somehow die before this game happens.

I just want a newer Spore game, but this looks pretty amazing and if it comes to PC, definitely buying it.

Guess I'll have to watch the trailer or gameplay again properly. I took no notice because i thought it was totally exclusive

I decided not to support this one on Kickstarter because a) I didn't have the money at the time, b) are were too many ways for a game of this type to "go wrong," and c) I'm hoping I can afford to buy it sometime after it comes out.

Have you seen this? No Man's Sky looks absolutely amazing, both in terms of gameplay and aesthetics. That game reminds me of SPORE, however it seems much more complex and entertaining. I just can't wait to explore all these randomly generated worlds!
And what do you think about it guys? Are you as excited as I am? As far as I know, No Man's Sky is being made by a small group of indie devs (4 guys was it?). Isn't that impressive? I hope they'll have enough strength, ideas and patience to finish this and deliver us a fine, completed product.
