Good TV series?

Some of them still stick in my mind, years after watching them. Especially the one with the astronaut that falls in love just before a deep space voyage. TZ had such a great way of being both sweet and brutal.

Even the classic 1950s black and white episodes are still great!

I think Lost has permanently ruined me on the whole mysterious TV show genre. I just don't think I'll ever have the patience to sit through several seasons of a show answering one question and raising ten more.

Yea J.J Abrams is ep for both but that is only thing in common :) that is my sugestion if you want good series with good acting and story. At least you can watch Pilot episode for both series. Lost is boring, only first and maybe second season was ok. Also you can give a try to Defiance, i watched first season and i like it, DL season 2 now :)

Wow, someone being touchy I see. I don't know about you, but I and many people I know like to discuss anime series and just regular tv series seperately.

And why jump to conclusions? who said anything bad about "Cowboy Bebop"? Tho if you mantion "Cowboy Bebop", you have to mention "Trigun" as well.

Of all of the medical TV dramas out there. I prefer Scrubs the best. The humor is completely appropriate based on the stress of the job and the craziness of the work. Then, you add in real personalities you would encounter in the real word. I honestly think that this show is closer to the reality of true life than what some of the other medical dramas portrait.

Some things are over exagerated on purpose, but only because it's a show... but I love how each and every character seems so real as well, even love stories are pretty crappy ones because "no time for that", but that's my point of view, so... guess who's got 2 thumbs and don't care ? ^^

I would suggest Almost Human, but since FOX didn't pick it up for a second season, I think you'll just be disappointed since it kinda ends on a cliffhanger.

Sleepy Hollow on the other hand did get picked up for a second season and that's one I really enjoyed. The first couple seasons of Continuum are pretty good, I found the most current season gets a bit eye-roll worthy but that could just be me. Wilfred (US) just came to an end, since you'll be able to see the big picture by the end, some of the stuff where it starts to drag in the middle, seems less stupid now. It's pretty funny for a dark comedy, and no laugh track. If you don't mind animated shows, Archer can be some of the funniest stuff you'll see on TV.......IF that's your type of humor.

Reminds me of SquareEnix. They have unrealistic expectations of how well something should perform. Despite their claims, the numbers say it's doing well, but to them is not "good enough".
