Achilles: Legends Untold
Achilles survivor
Total war Troy
Titan quest 2 (lol)

All solid guesses. Last one is possible! Just depends on the price :D

If the bundles containg ames from the publishers GMG works with (listed on their about page) then out of those, Total War (SEGA) or Titan Quest 2 (THQ) would be one of the choices.
I'd go with Total War. Bundles love strategy games for some reason. And its not early access, and is 2021 so "newish but not too new".

My bet is on Achilles: Survivor. The helmet in Legends Untold is different, the only other game that would be similar is Ryse, but the face is visible in that when viewed from the side.
The arrow, if from the same game then it must be that of Paris from Survivor. Though i would guess both would be different games unless the arrow image was scrapped.

I think you've made the first guess for the second image. Looks like that would definitely add up if it's Achilles: Survivor.

Overall I am intrigued. Hope the launch will be good.
Interesting take with Halo - curiosity made me ask AI what the snippet could represent and it also gave me Halo as suggestion. Not sure though if it actually made the connection with Spartan or read your comment on reddit and just gave it to me :D
Ryse - Doubtful. Old, not so good and been bundled already.
AC Odyssey - perhaps. But in that case it could be any game with spartans in it. Then again - that would feel a bit too straightforward. Halo could be a bit vague..
I would buy it for either though, so cant wait to see what will they launch.

Would think it's too early for Google to read my comment on Reddit but you never know :D
AC Odyssey does seem a bit obvious and the downside is that it could end up being a Uplay key...
I get excited for Humble choice every month, so I'm intrigued as well. Hopefully they do these teaser images for all of them.

Humble choice hasnt made me excited in a long time though, so I do hope that GMG will be able to get us some good deals to look forward to

If it is Odyssey i might actually end up getting this, though admittedly it depends on the pricing and the rest of the bundle.

My guess is that it will be pretty banger first bundle to get people invested and hyped. I would not expect anything before 2020, unless its smaller indie, tho
Seeing GMG is also publisher its most likely possible that there is one of these in mix:
https://store.steampowered.com/publisher/GMG
Most likely one of these:
Game | Cards | Cheevos | Details | Bundled | Retail Price |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Model Builder: Complete Edition | - | 🏆 | 3.00 CV app/1164250 | 1 | $19.99 |
Re:Turn - One Way Trip | - | 🏆 | 1.80 CV app/1195360 | 1 | $11.99 |
Alaskan Road Truckers | ❤ | 🏆 | 3.30 CV app/849100 | 1 | $21.99 |

Good thinking. I'd probably be happy with Alaskan Road Truckers if it's just one of the filler games.

No idea but the first picture lead me to think Star Wars helmet originally (and plenty of those games on Steam and else where)

Don't see Star Wars myself, but considering I guessed Halo, anything is possible :D If it is Star Wars then lets hope for a steam key of Jedi Survivor.

I have to admit, you both have a pretty creative imagination - seeing a roman helmet and expecting Halo or Star Wars... :) So we can make a lot of assumptions in any direction: since there's a warrior drawn there, it must be Call of Duty. Something like that.
And don't forget that EA games will not be keys for Steam, just like Ubisoft games.

I made a creative interpretation because I'm personally not interested in any of the logical guesses :D
I think we can all agree that we dont want an EA or uplay key though :)

I'd be more interested in speculating how their bundle business will look like, rather than what games will be included in the first bundle. ;)
Like:
I do think they will run out of keys too, they will just inform you before the purchase if they have already run out of keys for some games.
(Most of) Their keys will be region-locked. After all they intend to do regional pricing.
To establish themselves they will start with some great bundles. Good prices, few or none rebundles. But after some time they'll be like Humble or Fanatical.
And they might not do some of the less welcome stuff immediately, like giving keys that aren't for Steam or limiting the time to activate keys, but sooner or later they will adapt if they want to provide high-quality content for low prices.

Fair points there. As long as they don't handle running out of keys like Humble does I think most people will be OK with that. You're probably right about the quality dropping off but I'm glad I'll be about for the first few bundles. I'm still sad that I missed out on the early days of Humble Bundle. From what I've seen they had some bangers back in the day.

But look at the positives, if your prediction is right we'll get at least a couple of really nice bundles at first, that's a win when compared to the current state of bundles.
As I once read: we'll burn down those bridges when we get to them.

Instant Key Fulfilment – No waiting, our customers get their keys right away.
Regional Pricing – Fair pricing that reflects the realities of a global audience.
Live Stock Indicators – Transparent availability; always. Limited stock to drive FOMO.

Haha, that FOMO part is great. And I actually don't mind the humor while also addressing the truth.
It would be a different matter if they intentionally caused limited quantities, to create FOMO. But as limited key quantities are a reality for most smaller games, it's okay to embrace the situation with humor.

That's the thing.. the page is meant as a way of attracting devs/publishers, not consumers. I doubt they're trying to use humor to persuade them.. I think they're legit trying to create FOMO. I do think it's unavoidable with charity bundles, but you'd expect someone like GMG to be more professional with their partners.

You are right about that page specifically addressing potential partners, I wasn't aware of that. That makes it being humor less likely, though not impossible. They are Brits after all.
But I didn't expect GMG to be the perfect and saint bundle provider anyway.

Didn't know about the original game tbh. Honestly makes as much sense as most other guesses :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Eh, I hope most of the guesses are wrong because anything by Ubisoft will likely be the base game/uplay copy or some old game that's been pretty cheap and people likely own if they wanted it (Halo). We won't get steam keys for EA/Ubisoft stuff. They don't even carry them (with steam keys) on their store. Also AC Odyssey has been free before (if you signed up for the project stream test years ago)

Good point, though I think I've seen games go straight to bundle on Humble before appearing on the store.

As many of you already know, GMG is launching a bundles website and "the first charity bundle is set to launch in October 2025".
To be specific, the first GMG bundle will release on October 3, 2025 (Friday) to coincide with SpecialEffect’s One Special Day event.

Nice. Thank you for the info! I'll include this in the OP.

Seems like a popular guess. He's missing a plume on the helmet though isn't he? Or maybe it's just cut off...

Recently they posted a teaser image on their new website. Someone found another image by removing the number from the image URL. Here are direct links to those images:

Speculation has already started on Reddit so I thought it would be fun to do some speculating of our own. And yes, this is my idea of fun ;)
What games do you think the images represent? Let huff some hopium so we can be inevitably disappointed when the first bundle is revealed.
GA here (lvl 2, ends on October 1)
