I would get a case, if possible. Even just a cheap, $10 case can give a lot of peace of mind. I keep all my tablet type devices in my computer bag in cases, and I've never had an issue with them getting scratched or damaged, but I've never tried to bring a "graphics tablet" which I assume is one of those tablets with a stylus for graphic design. I suppose that's a bit more complicated, but the same general principle applies- if you can't get a case, get one of those bubble mailers, the yellowish envelopes with a little bit of bubble wrap inside, and put it in that.

6 rolls of duct tape, 3 pillows, and a goat.

Step 1) Feed the goat.
Step 2) Place the graphics table securely in the middle of the 3 pillows.
Step 3) Use copious amounts of duct tape to secure the pillows to the graphics tablet.
Step 4) Use remaining duct tape to fasten the pillow-encased graphics table to the goat's back.

you make a triangle with the pillows, or you make a pile , cut the middle one and put the tablet inside?

You forgot the flute part

Ahhh, you're right! It's been ages since I've had to transport a graphics tablet in the socially accepted manner. The flute really should be optional, as it's quite a chore finding a goat who knows the sheet music for Vivaldi's Flute Concerto in D

Well, you are gonna need the following things (maybe even more, depending on weather and stuff):

  1. Bubble wrap, LOADS of bubble wrap
  2. Pillows
  3. Duct tape
  4. A monkey
  5. A little RC airplaine (monkey needs to fit inside it)

On a serious note though: I think bubble wrap would be very good to begin with. After you have wrapped it in this but it in some sort of tablet bag (see picture) and maybe even put this in another bag. If you need it as soon as you arrive, I wouldn't put it into the luggage, in case it goes missing. Also: If you really go for bubble wrap, you should also think about if you can get bubble wrap a secon time to transport it back.

Well... after typing all of this I realise that a "tablet bag" really should do the trick if you take it with you into the plane... too much typing to delete it again... I'll get some sleep now O.o

Just be sure to place it ABOVE the explosives, then I can guarantee it wont break.

All explosives are safe, until they explode of course.

Damn me, I forgot the explosions. Oh well... I guess the only solution is to not bring it then.
