Well, today i was added for my first phishing scam, I'm so happy someone decide to try it on me =D, I only wish they were a real person =(
I'm terribly sorry, I didn't realise calling out extended to phishing bots, I've removed the link just in case
sorry again for it
it was mostly to remind people of the dangers of phishing links and to report suspect behaviour
once again, i'm sorry I posted it

Yeah, I think everybody should open threads just to say that.

I know you're being sarcastic, but it's not a bad idea.
I've seen plenty of scam bots, but never one saying I won anything.
Bart did me a favour. Others too, probably.

In this case, I think it's okay.
It helps other people know who to avoid for scams.

No calling out at all, and remove the link. This will only get you suspended if you leave it as it is.

This is what is called backseat moderating, or witch hunting, or calling people out. Not kosher.

You are right guys, sorry about it
I didn't realise calling out extended to phishing links. I wasn't intentionally trying to start a witch hunt, merely trying to rid the cummunity (oops, communnity ;)) of these phishing bots
in any case, remember, double check those links and be sure you know who you're trading with

Unfortunately, even if it was allowed under site rules, warning of a single bot doesn't help. You need to warn people of the bot style itself, where it posts the fake links (without using the links, because you will get idiots entering them for some reason), and that warning won't go to the people that need it most, because they don't read forums with warnings.

Its great that you are trying to help, but best to just report each bot in Steam, rather than post chat logs here.
