i'll give it a look, but the usual motives of people you chat to online are 'Send nudes'

I hadn't heard of that so I started it last night. Me and Nicole just went to the park. I confessed my feelings and she rejected me :( So far I like the game, though.
No Stranger is a bit darker than that, though, and it enforces a wait period between communications (which you can speed in exchange for an ad) so you can't play all at once. I chose to wait the 30 minutes or 12 hours rather than speed things up because it made it more real.

I was lucky enough to back Sunless Skies at the Cartographer level so I get to name a place! I'm so excited! I imagine they won't allow 'snugglor' to be the name (unless they can make a play on words like 'Snugglor's Cove' instead of 'Smuggler's Cove'), but I hope it's something cool.

Google Play recommended a game to me the other day called No Stranger, and it was free so I thought I'd give it a go.
I ended up being pretty impressed with it. It takes the form of a fake IM app with some scavenger hunt elements and it's about questioning the motives of people you meet online. I happily paid a dollar at the end of the game, even though I didn't have to. I figure indie devs can use the support.
I'd like to emphasise that I'm not connected to these guys in any way, I just wanted to spread the word about something I enjoyed.
Anyway, if the idea of a free game interests you (and you're on SG, so I know it does), why not have a go?

While I'm spreading the word about things, the makers of Sunless Sea are kickstarting a sequel if you're interested in getting in on the ground floor on that one.
And now, what you've all been waiting for, Rogue Legacy is what I offer to those who pass the SGTools test.
