It's fun how they work. My grandma will always call it Nintendo so who cares?

Dear god, the comment section is degenerate at a fucking unbelievable level...

It's a YT video about a games console. What did you expect? Friendly conversation over a pint down the local or the usual (for gaming videos): "\\\\ is better than ____" "why" "it just is!" "no it's not" "yes it is" "no! did i mention i fucked your mom last night?" "was your mum busy hence why you had to see mine?"

There was a comment that said, "Fat". I can only guess that he's talking about the guy on the right.

How fucking immature must you be to post a retarded comment like that?

Ok, yea, I didn't see that comment, but then again I don't usually go into the YT comments looking for anything to restore my faith in humanity. Or the comments on facebook things for that matter. Or indeed on many 'multi-user' forums (ones like YT comments / Reddit / FB where people of all levels of IQ can get to).

I do go into the comments some times to simply laugh at how miss-informed and ignorant people are...

But i've got a question... What if my friend is in another city?

Sony is in the past, Microsoft is in the future, that's the truth about this whole situation.

That's what recorded delivery mail is for. If you are giving it to your friend, ask them to cover half the mailing costs.

Yes, but this is not that easy like on this video, it takes time... In MS solution with DRM, you can share your game library to 10 person, they can be in other country and still they will have opportunity to play to your games... It will be more like steam, thats why i say that sony is in the past and MS is in the future of the gaming...

Not really. It's the future in terms of being pushed on everyone by the big companies, but it's not the future that gamers want and it's definitely not a convenient future. You're also completely ignoring the drawback of the DRM, which is that YOU FUCKING HAVE TO STAY CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET ALL THE TIME!

"YOU FUCKING HAVE TO STAY CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET ALL THE TIME!" not true, you've got to connect every 24 hours that's all... Do you even read about how DRM will be work on Xbox One?

"not true, you've got to connect every 24 hours that's all..."

Fanboy alert.

To clarify, "every 24 hours" falls within my "all the time" category.

"Fanboy alert."?

Srsly?

See my comment below.

"But if as gamer i should buy console, i would buy PS4, is cheaper and got more power"

I just say that you are lying and misleads people saying "YOU FUCKING HAVE TO STAY CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET ALL THE TIME!" that's all :>

As vercinger so succinctly put it, I think the small 'dis-advantage' (?) of owning a physical copy and 'the hardships of not being able to share it long-range' massively outweighs the 'needs to be connected online once every 24 hrs'...

If I was going to buy a console (why I would I don't know) I'd go with the one you are making out to be worse because 'it's not futuristic' -> the PS4.

I didn't say it worse, is diffrent... You are here on steam gift so you use Steam, is it that bad? If you had a chance to sell you games to one of your 30 friedns, is that would be bad? or share your library with 10 of your family mambers and friends?
I like steam, i like to have all my games on serwer waiting to download theme, new Xbox give you the same but better. I not saying that sony solution is bad, it all school, to play game you have to insert CD to your machine, to change game you have to change CD, to get game from friend you have to go to him.
But if as gamer i should buy console, i would buy PS4, is cheaper and got more power ;)

You strongly implied that it's worse.

And what Steam does with DRM is bad. But one company doing something stupid is an unbelievably terrible excuse for another to do the same thing.

*"Hey, guys, sorry for screwing up, but look, look! Someone else screwed up even worse before! And you're still buying their stuff! So that must mean screwing up is good, right? So you have no right to be mad at us for copying the mistakes of others instead of learning from them!"

Didn't you clue in when they said "We strive to ensure that our services are relevant and meaningful. Our strategy for building an incredible entertainment platform... is unique in that we focus on our fans and curate content that we know they will love."

Sony was talking thinly veiled smack at Microsoft's expense throughout the whole thing. And it was glorious.
Too bad the system is still not truly backwards compatible.

Lets be honest, Microsoft handed the market on a silver platter to Sony. As long as Sony does not screw up they will do really well this time around. Only things XBone has going for it right now is Halo and Dead Rising 3. Even then I would not be too shocked if DR3 pops up on other systems after a while like some "exclusives" in the past have.

So when a company gives us what we want, it's lame? Some people on the internet simply will never be happy.

frankly i'm neither happy or dissatisfied, this i don't really care for this console-war nonsense. What i called lame was the over-hyping of the new PS4, that so far doesn't feature anything new at all, and that people praise it solely because the cash in.
Unless there's some awesome feature coming with it, i'm neutral with the PS4, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, ya know ;)
