Hey, I'm giving away Broken Sword 1 & 2, they're pretty humorous point and click adventure games. They're really good and I really enjoyed playing them and I hope you will too (I own non-Steam versions if you're wondering). I would like it if you only entered if you plan on playing them at some point since they're too cool not to play, but obviously I can't stop you if you don't.

I have such good memories on the first Broken Sword, my brother played it and I only watched. I enjoyed watching him play it. If I can enter your give away for the first one it would be awesome!
I am in no rush for 2 since I want to play the first one until the end and take my time :]

I had the same experience with the first Broken Sword, only it was a cousin who I watched play it.

Apparently, it's aged pretty well. Rock Paper Shotgun ranked it 15th on their list of the best PC adventure games.

Yeah, they're one of my favorite adventure games, I love the silly humor :D Sure you can enter, you just have to find the link. The second game has a separate story so it doesn't really matter much though ;)

Great! Thanks a lot!
I never played/seen the sequels. Time to save up some money, not for the games, but to send my fiancΓ© somewhere to pass the time while I play :D

BS2, in a sense, is better, as it tries to include a better variety in scenery and repeats them less. It is a lot more talkative though, tries to use dialogue-based puzzles more often than practical ones. (Plus one of the most sadistic mazes in point 'n' click history. :))

That sounds great! Adding it to my wishlist as well. I (my wallet) can't keep track of all these games I want to play (again).
I miss good adventure games these days. I liked Deponia though, the world should have more point and click glory!

You can try to look around TellTale's older stuff, before they started to make movies instead of games. Sam & Max season 1-2 are phenomenal, largely because they were co-produced with the original creator.
Daedalis also has a ton of good games.
Also, if you missed it, the early 2000s Microids games had some great point 'n' clciks as well.

I've got these so I won't enter. But I just have to say that I love the original 2 BS games. Number two is my favourite point and click, and indeed sparked my love of the genre.

I haven't played the originals in a long time but I did enjoy them back in the day. I lost them at some point when I was moving though, I suspect they were stolen by an ex-flatmate back in Scotland. think I'm long overdue a replay, so I'll test my luck on them :)

I have two disc versions of both games since one of my discs became unreadable. And also a mac version of the first game I bought by mistake :D Scottish people are awesome. Good luck!
