What To Do.....

What is the right course of action if you are entered in a giveaway, but in the meantime you either buy the said game or receive it from another giveaway.

  1. Go along with the giveaway, use key however you want (doubt it's this one)
  2. Remove yourself from giveaway
  3. If you win, tell the creator of the giveaway to reroll

Since this couldn't really be tracked, could anything happen if you just went along with the giveaway, other then someone taking the time to look to see if you have the game yet on your steam profile and then placing you on their blacklist.

Thanks everyone, hoping this hasn't been covered beforehand. Also hopes it helps newer people to the right thing to do.

If the giveaway hasnt ended yet, leave it. If the giveaway ended and you won, ask the winner to request a reroll. If he gives you the game before you talk to him, don't use it and tell him to request a reroll.

  2. If you don't remove yourself in time and you win, tell the creator of the giveaway to reroll
