Sth similar happened to me. I just randomly added 3 people that commented on the giveaway and firs tot react got it;) (The guy who organized the giveaway agreed on this btw)

its never right to trade a game you won. refuse to accept it and have it rerolled.

You should contact the gifter, give it back and ask for mods to reroll, that would be the decent thing to do.
