Every time i have to sync my account i have to do it 10+ (stopped counting after 20th attempt this time) to have my wishlist back.

Could we have separate sync mechanism for wishlist? Its there only for user convenience and having outdated wishlist should not affect ability to enter giveaways.

edit
It seems i was not clear enough.

When i sync my library once a week, after first sync my wishlist gets empty. I have to sync 10+ more times (and refresh website after each to see change in wishlist count)

Little update if anyone get this issue.

It seems that steam takes bit longer to switch your wishlist to public after you change it in your profile.

There's little point in re-syncing all the time until you get your wishlist back, just have to give it few minutes before you sync.

I have 360 games on wishlist atm.

There was one time it sync worked fully. Right after cg changed how often points are generated. I hoped it fixed my issue as well somehow...

Syncing my library empties my wishlist on steamgifts and i have to resync many times to get it back.

I think that's a problem with Steam, not the site. It happened to me before.

It is problem with steam, they limited how much data you can get in one go.

Thats why i suggested to separate those.

I have occasionally (half a dozen times) had this happen to me in the last 4 weeks but usually a resync sorts it out for me. I've also had a few times when I have also had to resign lots of times before it actually works. Not often enough for me to worry about it that much tbh

i heard other people have trouble syncing their wishlist, i suppose it times out because they have too many games or something like that?
your suggestions would help if that's the case.

I would have made the syncing of Steam wishlist an optional setting. Also, I would have liked the ability to manually edit your wishlist on here so it is not necessarily the same as that on Steam. The reason being that traders sometimes use your wishlist when making you an offer and just because you might like to win something in a giveaway it doesn't necessarily mean that you would want to trade for it as well. The other plus to being able to manually edit your wishlist would be the ability to add packages that you normally can't get on your wishlist here (because you are not able to wishlist them on Steam).

That would be great!

With site tracking deals in most popular shops that sell steam keys too!

since i never had this problem, i always thought the system to sync the wishlist in the same time as the library was perfect, it would force people to update their library (and so prevent them to join giveaway for a game they have but they try to sneak it) when they just want to sync their Wishlist for an easier reading on the site. After, if its the Wishlist wich don't update fine, i can't say if syncing "only" the wishlist would end in a different result
