Nope. My iPhone does everything that the iPad can and it is more portable. If I need to do something that my phone cant, I use my laptop.

I will probably get a tablet at some point, but I prefer something lighter and cheaper. I'll probably get a 7" tablet at some point. I also have a little preference for Android, though from what I've seen of the iPad it's a pretty nice device. Won't mind getting one for free.
