Sparkle 2 EVO: virus or false positive? - SOLVED

Hi there!
I installed Sparkle 2 EVO from Steam and my antivirus says that Sparkle2EVO.exe contains a specific Trojan.
I deleted the file and downloaded it again: same result.
Since it was installed from Steam, I tend to believe it's a false positive, but I'd like to be sure.

To those who have the game: please check how big the file is and let me know.

The response of the developer:
"Hi,

Yeah, we've got some complains about that, it's a false positive.

Steam has recently changed the method they use to apply DRM to Steam builds. This update is the first to use this new method and it's causing issues with Avira.
That's a false alarm that occurs in Avira only. You can try scanning with any other antivir program and see that there is nothing there.

We always check our builds before sending and I believe that Steam does too before publishing :)

I'm pretty sure they're all false positives. My antivirus has picked two or three random game files like that too. First of all it would be a terribly unefficient way of spreading a trojan. It would instantly be known to everyone and the devs would probably be banned forever from releasing any games on Steam.

I think that the steam downloads are 100% secure, and it's a false positive
