Got locked out today, did the phone number thing.
Don't even use twitter for anything but offers, but I do like my name, avatar and profile on there. Don't want to risk losing it so I think I'll set up a second account and use that for gleam from now on. Might stay logged in on 2 different browsers or 2 different devices.

I wonder if the people who use Gleam to promote their groups will take action and stop using Twitter for their promotions. I bet there must be other new micro blogging services they can use like selfcentered.com or something like that.

Weird... Probably won't take long until the numbers of newly joined members start to decline. I used to pick up a lot of freebies from Gleam promotions until a few weeks ago and luckily I've never had that problem but I can't be the only one too lazy to contact Twitter support twice a week to unlock my account.

So when I tried to enter the new gleam.io giveaway I found out my Twitter account got blocked
Didn't see a thread for it, so I created one to spread awareness
Here is a reddit thread I found in which most people had this problem after the Bitray giveaway of yesterday.
Many people used the google voice number to unlock the account
READ HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER.
Send message to support, then replying at the bot email you get, will get you another bot reply that will unlock your account.
