[Question] Can I send back by e-mail an unpacked "Terraria 4-Pack"?

I know that after I unpack "Terraria 4-Pack" the gift will become untradable for 30 days, but can I send back the gift by email?

Does anyone tried it?

yes, i did that with AoE II gifts.

It should only be untradable if your account isn't "trusted" (scroll down a bit to "Why aren’t some of my gifts tradable?"). Which makes sense, because no one wants to buy copies of a game to play with their friends, but be unable to give it to them for a month.
