PSA - Steamgifts and Steamtrades are having login issues.

Noticed a lot of people coming into chat asking about this, so might as well make a thread. The logins are currently giving errors along the lines of "error connecting to host" on both sites, so it might be wise not to log out for a bit. To people trying to log-in, well...Just bear with the site for a bit. It might be Steam OpenID related, or it could be to do with S.Gifts itself, either way, it should be fixed later.

That explains why I was getting time out errors earlier with my phone on SteamTrades. Currently with the family and wanted to be able to bump the topic for offer requests.

sorry to bump an old topic but this is happening to me right now and i didnt want to make a new thread. i cant login to steamtrades as i keep getting an error similar to the one mentioned here by the OP. anyone know how long this has been going on or if there is anything that can be done.
