This is a sum of external funds that have been applied to your Steam account, either to purchase games on the Steam store or fund your Steam Wallet.
So since this also includes Steam wallet it also includes all the money I wasted on Trading cards, right?

Thanks for confirming that. Too bad that enhanced Steam feature that tallies up all your Market transactions doesn't seem to work right now. Would be interesting to see how much of that money was just for cards.

Counts external funds added through stuff like PayPal or debit cards. If you added $5 to your wallet and spent it on market, it would count. If you sold stuff on market for $5 to buy other stuff with, it isn't counted.
I'm not sure if it counts gift cards.

Correct, but it only counts for $5 towards your TotalSpend, regardless of what you do with it later.
Physical gift cards count towards it as well, not sure about the digital ones though (those you can buy on the Steam store)

Yeah, but that is still external. You just can't do Add Funds buying on market like you can with store, so it counts it when simply adding funds.

I buy almost all my games from 3rd party sites like Humble and Fanatical so I'm not surprised the number for funds spent directly on Steam is so low.

I'm sure there are many ahead of me. I'm not all that rich (even if I'm still going to have more to spend than people in certain countries), so I'd expect there to be people with actual money to burn with higher totals.

Really. I'm unemployed. I still get a fair bit of cash down here, and haven't always spent it responsibly (no more ignoring bills for later), but I'm far from rich.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that like, at least $200 dollars are literally just money I got from selling cards over the years. I haven't used anything but card money to buy stuff on steam ever since the whole trading cards beta came into existence.

I think we all know of the what is your steam account worth sites, but never heard about this yet, maybe it's been posted before, but thought maybe post it in case some missed it too.
Total spend is a tally of all the money you spent on Steam, whether that’s buying games for yourself, gifting them to others, or buying anything off the Steam Market.
OldSpend is the amount of money you spent before the Limited User Account restrictions were put in place in 2015.
PWSpend refers to the money you’ve spent on games run by Perfect World Entertainment, a Steam partner which helps run CS:GO and DOTA 2 in China and is currently helping the platform expand into that country.
