The biggest thing I remember is the Japanese Ronald McDonald/Ran Ran Ru fad. The good old McRolled video introduced me to the music of the Touhou franchise.

There were a few different McRolld videos. I remember one used U.N. Owen was Her, but I'm pretty sure there was another one that I really liked that used Native Faith.
Then of course there was Ronald McGiygas/Go to McDonald.

been on yt for almost like 6 years on my current account, nothing beats watching funny cat videos (or in my case, watching videos about beagle puppies ^-^ They are so sweet)
