I'm brutal with my Ignore List (7600+ games !) (i.e the 'Ignored' button on a steam game page)

One way I measure progress is seeing how many games from a new DIG bundle are already on my ignore list.

Today I was pleased to find that ALL 9 of the games from DIG Weekly 463 were already on the list.

To celebrate the achievement, I decided to do a giveaway of one of the games from the bundle that happened to already be in my trade list.

Giveaway Code: N3xLn - Reverse the order and invert the case - You know what to do from there.

Good luck - Hope the game finds a home !!

Q: How strong is your ignore list game?

PS: I should probably include a POLL but not sure what the selections would be - Maybe next time ...

[edit] Sorry for typo in the code - some lower case letters look like upper case letters in my font :/

He refers to ignore list on Steam I think. Not hidden games on SG

Correct, I'm referring to actively clicking Ignored on a steam game page ...

My ignore list is.... Zero :(.

tbh, I ignored the ignore button until this discussion brought it to my attention XD.

I didn't even know if you were talking about your game library or the store lol!

Personally, I don't currently use that feature... but in fairness, perhaps I should.

I have never used the ignore button on Steam, but I currently have 18,951 games hidden here on SG :)

Don't care about steam's ignore. I have 17k+ games ignored here.

I don't get the sense of Steam's ignore list. I have some games there, not a lot, because putting them there didn't change my Steam experience at all.
I do, however, have 18412 games on my SG ignore list, which directly impacts my SG experience ALOT.

Same for me with steam but with ~11k hidden on sg.

Indeed. I'm only interested in finding games to add to my wl, I don't need to ignore any game on Steam to achieve this.

I started ignoring specific developers now though after I learned that it displays a warning if you should happen to try to buy one of their products "by accident". ;)

Oh WOW I love seeing the high ignore list count that users have here on SG.

In addition to tossing points at SG here, I'm also an active steam trader ( Barter, Steam Trades ) which means I spend a lot of time looking at other people's trade lists to see if there's a match. Keeping my Ignore list active on Steam allows me to import that list into Barter and use it to more-easily filter other people's trade lists to see what I might be interested in (namely Wish List games, Followed Games, and Non-Ignored games, in that order) ...

My SG ignore count is just ~2,600 items, mostly because I've only been active on SG for a couple of months now. However, before ignoring a game here on SG, I click through and ignore it on Steam first, to make sure its tracked there.

Anyway, there is indeed some strong ignore list game going on here - thanks for sharing folks !

975 products hidden on SG. Most of it is DLC and complete-edition bundles.

450 marked not interested on Steam store. Lots of games I already own elsewhere and some low-effort troll games in there.

I don't ignore games generally but I do keep in mind some games or devs that have bad traits.

I've ignored every game that I own somewhere that isn't Steam. It amounts to a lot of ignored games, but I haven't actually ignored any games simply because I don't want them.

348 on barter, 4,664 on SG.

On Steamgifts I've ignored 345 games, almost all of them being DLC I already own, or games I own that have been removed from Steam. Wonderful API.

A few games I have on ignore on Steamgifts because I own a physical copy on my Gamecube.

I haven't ignored anything on the Steam Store page. Don't know why I'd bother, to be honest.

On SG it's at 22,047
On Steam it's at 54,558
On barter I trade only for games on my wishlist, and use the blacklist and scratchpad to sort other games I'm somewhat interested in but don't care to trade for atm.

I don't have any game in ignore list. I don't really see a reason to add any game there. If I don't want to buy a game, I just don't buy it. And if I get it from other sources, I don't mind. Any game is +1 to library and many give me cards, so I actually earn money. I just earned a dollar (and believe me, it's super much in my region) by selling cards from Choice's games. I rather add games to wishlist, so I can win them there for example or know when it's a bundle out of it, good off and when there is Steam Sale I can also buy games from wishlist too.

So basically, I don't ignore anything. Because I see no reason. I rather ignore things not in virtual manner. If I just don't care I don't need a virtual system to not care. I just don't bother myself. And I rather use wishlist if a game is possibly interesting.

389 hidden. After that I realized it doesn't worth effort hiding all gamehag free games, trash games, hentais etc, so clicking on "Wishlist" on sg or just "Add to cart" on steam, saves my time.

Edit: On steam I have hidden like 5 porn games which it started show me on store page as recommendation. When I want buy games, I am exactly know what I am looking for and never randomly searched among their store, so I haven't needed it. These few hidden were way to disturbing.
