Greetings all,

My Ancient Greece super-hunt makes steady but very slow progress. A large chunk of this week went into a single Steam Dungeon puzzle (and there are at least 2 Steam Dungeons in the event). I am struggling a little bit with getting transfer events to do what I want them to do, but I will get there in the end.

As such, the hunt for the mythical art thief Carmen SanFranciso carries on apace. Can you figure out where she is headed this time?

The giveaway runs until 23:59 pm GMT on Friday 10 August. The main prize this week is thematically very closely related to the solution, and as such, while I am pleased to get the reward to match the solution, I am also having to make it a secret giveaway. Therefore there is a secondary prize which I can identify which is Timberman, and yes, while this is an indie, bundled game, the reviews are extremely positive, the game is a lot of fun, and I urge you to try it out..

There is no puzzle content on this page. But the hunt continues here

Note that this is the Sequel to Catching Carmen SanFrancisco I and to Catching Carmen SanFrancisco II.

31 people solved part 1, but only 30 solved part 2. I think that this week's may be a little bit easier. We shall see if we can beat that 30 cap.

Should the hunt for Carmen SanFrancisco Continue

View Results
Yes, I am enjoying the chase
No, its been fun, but do something else
No, it hasn't been my sort of puzzle.

Reserved for Errata, Corrections (which hopefully will not exist) and then ultimately the solution.

Errata

Minor typos have been fixed (e.g. Belguim rather than Belgium). None of these have affected the puzzle.
M3rc caught that I had referred to "Regensberg in Germany", where it should be "Regensburg in Germany". Regensberg, with an e, is in Switzerland. This did not effect the solution to the puzzle, but it has been fixed.

Solution

You have blocked the roads, the railways and the airfields, so how is Carmen SanFranciso getting around? The answer is that she is sailing down the blue Danube visiting the largest city in each country that she comes across: Regensberg, Germany -> Vienna Austria -> Bratislava, Slovakia ->Budapest, Hungary -> Vukovar, Croatia -> and the next city is Belgrade, Serbia which is our answer.
The prize, chosen to be appropriate was The Rivers of Alice - Extended Version (https://store.steampowered.com/app/411590/).
27 people caught Carmen.

Solved ! I didn't feel that this one was easier. I had to try more city names than for the other puzzles...
