I have the base game of Dungeons Defenders but none of the DLC, could i enter a Dungeon Defenders Collection giveaway?

What about say the THQ Catalog, could i enter if i have some of the games already?

Its up to the giveaway creator to decide.

Indeed, it's better to ask if the creator didn't say in description.

I personally think it's a bit rude to do so in the case of collections (Dungeon Defenders, Magicka, Saints Row). For Publisher packs, it depends on how many games are in the pack and how many you own. Ultimately it's up to the gifter though.

You should ask the giveaway creator in those cases. If they're okay with it - enter. But AFAIK entering only for DLCs is rarely approved by people. A bit different with collections - if you have a low % of the games from it (say 10-20%) it's usually ok to enter.

But always try to ask the gifter first.

I think its okay on cases like Dungeon Defenders, where all the dlc would cost 4 times the price of the game.

Well same can be said for Magicka, yet I've seen quite a few rerolls when people owning the base game enter into collection giveaways

I agree whit meqaqiqa.

When it's a Franchise Pack or a collection, I consider it OK to enter having like less than 25% of the games, for example. But when it comes to a Game+DLCs well, I think that is not really fair entering when having the base game IMHO

Well, it is up to the creator of the giveaway in the end. But If I gave a Dungeon Defenders Collection I would allow people with only the base game to enter, because the dlcs are 5 times more expensive than the game. And the base game was in a indie bundle!

And I'm not disagreeing with you! :)

Just want to underline it's best to get approval of the gifter :)

Yes, in this cases I only enter after the gifter approves it :)

Please dont enter on those giveaways and let users without the game join on them, they may like the game as much as you do.
