What is Temtem?

They are calling this game "the Pokemon-like MMO that won't be sued by Nintendo" :P

The game looks amazing and is the reason I started searching for other Monster Taming games on Steam, I'm very happy to see that it's still coming out on Steam and that it isn't jumping on the shit shown that is the Epic Games store.

Yeah, it's just for a test and is not permanent. I'm not even sure if they will approve all requests too, but if they really want to stress test their servers, they would probably want to do that :)

Anyway, if you're very interested in the game, it's a great opportunity to check out the game for free and then decide whether the game is for you (or not).

According to their Discord, there'll be a single wipe planned right before early access hits... whatever that means since I'm not even sure if a stress test is considered a beta or an alpha, but you can always ask the devs on Discord if you'd like to find out more :)

The game looks great and is on my wishlist for a while now but am just not sure if I am willing to test stuff, I mean, I rather just play the whole game when it's done that's why I also don't really buy Early Access games you never know what kind of bugs you run into and if you can actually play enough or that it keeps giving problems and always the chance you lose everything after it and have to start all over when it goes live ^^

It's alright; to each their own :)

Personally, I don't mind the issues as much. I'm just hoping to get in so I can satisfy my curiosity about the game while helping out at the same time. The game looks really good on the outside and I'm hoping it'd play just as well on the inside :)

I don't remember the very first Pokemon I choose, I played like 50 times every Pokemon title back then but I think my favourite was Squirtle? =P

In Red/Blue it was Charmander, Gold/Silver/Crystal it was either Cyndaquil or Totodile, Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald it was Torchic (disliked all 3), Diamond/Pearl it was Turtwig and didn't play any after that, yes, I may be weird for remembering them all XD
