Do you agree on limiting communication among teammates?
yeah and that is annoying as hell! these are also mostly the same players that are raging/trash talking in CoD titles (fps titles in general) which made them unplayable in my opinion

There was some mobile port MOBA on steam that had something similar. I don't really play that many competitive multiplayer games so i don't really know any others that use this system.
Now if it's good or bad, i can't say. I don't really engage in flaming the enemy/banter unless someone's being cocky/obnoxious and this system kinda removes that part so it does not really bother me.

well I don't trash talk or like trash talking, but I think preventing you from typing to the other team sort of sucks. I always enjoyed exchanging pre-game chatter and witticisms with the other team when I played Dota along with the customary GLHF, and occasionally have a bit of a convo with the other team when the going is slow (or I'm dead for 90 seconds), or remark on a nice play or something to that effect.
oh well, I don't play HotS and unless my co-op friends urge me to, I probably won't, so doesn't bother me too much, as for Hearthstone I only play with friends whom I'm usually on Mumble with so that's alright by me.

You are the kind of players I wish to not have in my match, especially not on my team.
Then again, there's nothing more satisfying in LoL than coming back against trash talkers who thought they have their "winning secured" and just become silent throughout the match.

"I like to trash talk like 2 out of 5 games "
I guess the players like you are the reason competitive game are considered to be toxic. You're trashtalking in 40% of your matches yet you feel like you have the right to judge and complain about people on Tribunal?? Grow up kid, and find another way to reduce your stress than swearing at other human beings. Go for a run, for example

I really appreciated this decision. What can you discuss with random people who are currently your opponents? Spamming them with insults or leaking vital information to help them. Both is against the spirit of fair play. You'd better spend some time discussing your tactics with your teammates.

So i've been playing Blizzard latest games Heroes of the storm and hearthstone and I noticed they limit communication to teammates in HOTS and just like 6 sentences your character say in Hearthstone.
I read this is in order to avoid harrasing the people and creating a toxic environment just like League of legends is.
But this limit the old tradition of "Trash Talk" Your oponents, a tratition as old as the bluffing!
I like to trash talk like 2 out of 5 games and when we have the winning secured, it's really old and I have got sometimes trash talked, even E-Sports do it, for example during the League of Legends Championship Series I heard a lot of trash talk, but everybody know it's just trash talk it's like in the wrestling and also affects the gameplay!.
I don't like not being able to trash talk my opponents, not during the whole match, because i'll become toxic otherwise, and I spent some time in the league of legends tribunal and I saw a lot of toxic behavior.
Also one of simpson's episodes was about trash talking during Fake football.
