Oh damn! I can relate to the sales though. Although sometimes I think its a good thing cause then at least i'm not tempted to buy a game that I will probably will never play. :P

Haha, this made me chuckle and reminisce similar instances with my younger brother. Cherish your time with him while you're both still alive. You'll never know how much you value those annoyances until they're gone forever.

Cold rainy night here... I have to finish my undergrad thesis in order to finish my career... Pressure comes from everywhere but its understandable... I've been on this for about a year now and I'm tired of it... I don't have the will to go on with my life, not because of the previous but because there's nothing for me in this world...

This is my life at the moment, study all the time. It's so boring while your doing it but when it's over it will be such a relief. Can't wait to finish. And i'm not really sure what a thesis is but it sounds like your getting a career out of it it in end so that's awesome. Just think about that :D

Simply spending time in the forums here makes me feel good about the steamgifts community, because there are so many good people here. Just look at a thread or two and you'll find generosity, wit, humor, insight, etc. :)

SomeRowdyone recently gave me his steam key for Among the Sleep... I did not expect that at all but you can be sure I was over the moon. ^^ Among the Sleep had been on my wishlist for quite some time. I have started playing the game... I have yet to finish it though. I love horror-themed games but I'm easily scared while playing so it might take me a while to complete it. :p Still, you have no idea how thankful I am. :3
Also, as Yunie pointed out... sometimes you get to discuss (some non-game related topics) and it's really nice to learn what people like and think... and... well, it's just fun. ^^

I dunno, I think my favorite part of SG is the community. We can be hardasses at times, but there are so many people here on the boards and in all the various groups that put time into GAs and trains and puzzles that it feels good to be a part of that community. It's awesome to see people's interests and learn new things through puzzles and discussions and stuff :D

I'm doing fine, thanks. Need to start doing some work (but instead I'm procrastinating :/). I also need to get around to playing most of the games that I won... Most of them are pretty good, I just need to find the time and effort to start playing. I however win Awesomenuats and have since sunk over 200 hours into it, so that is pretty good.

I really like how every discussion has a humorish side in it, no matter the topic. Also, the way GA restrictions work is so easy to create a GA for people you like and avoid leechers/trolls.

Relevant song to listen to while reading this thread
So today I randomly decided to look through all the winners of the giveaways I have done on steamgifts. I did this expecting to find people who haven't activated the wins of my giveaways. Unfortunately I did find a few people who had done this. 2 of which have been suspended permanently. One of these people had won over 50 games and activated barely any one them!! That kinda depressed me a little to find this.
However the thread is titled feeling good so I did find some good people in the community. I found loads of people who have a very high amount of playtime in games they've won from me. One person had 36 hours on my giveaway game. This just happened to make me smile to know that I have given someone a game that they've enjoyed so much. My faith in the steam gifts community was restored shall we say.
So thanks to these awesome people I decided to be generous for once. I haven't done a giveaway for a non-bundle game for a long time but today I felt inclined to do so. Although it does have special rules attached to reward to the good people of steamgifts and get rid of the people that don't belong here.
