Some of you may recall I did this a few months ago. Here we go again...

My debit card requires ten purchases a month, or I get charged a $10 fee. It's not a great setup, I know. It is what it is. Whatever.

Right now I'm five purchases short, which means I could spend as much as $2 each and still come out better than I otherwise would. I'd prefer to spend less than $10 total, but sadly there are no Humble Bundles or big Steam sales to utilize this time around. What's a good way to get these five separate purchases done?

  • Is there anything awesome on Kickstarter that I can get in on with just $1? (I'm looking at you, Fate Core!)
  • Are there any active Pay What You Want bundles?
  • Any cheap games worth a darn on Steam?
  • Maybe Amazon? Humble/Wolfire Store? That sorta thing?
  • Doesn't have to be a video game! But shipping and handling gets expensive.

NO MORE FORTIX
NO MORE BAD RATS
NO ALPHA PRIME

I might grab a couple copies of FlatOut but I'm looking for more stuff that's interesting.

Thanks, folks!

edit: Lucky me! Fable 3 DLC and Trine 2 DLC went on sale the day after I posted. Picked these up via individual purchases and hit five after all. Thanks, folks.

I don't hate the idea of Fortix, it's just that it was recommended last time.

.< If IndieRoyale didn't have a habit of missing holidays I'd be cool with that. I've gotta close this up before the 14th.

Buy keys from Steam market. You could later trade them for keys or sell them.

I wonder why you just don't use your card more often, like doing groceries or something. Anyway I'm sure you have your reasons.

Can you for instance set up paypal account linked to the card and charge yourself a few times, filling the account with some money? (and then perhaps send the money back to your bank account or use it when you feel more like actually buying something not that you're forced to)

Anyway I try to stay off kickstarter or they get too good at sucking my money out of me, but I'm aware of Dreamfall Chapters. Might be worth throwing something at them. But my understanding is you aren't getting charged until the project actually gets funded so not a best idea in your case, unless of course it's stuff that ends this month and is likely to get funded.

For me debit card is not good for "domestic" shopping since it's in different currency than we use.

IndieGameStand has games which change every 4 days and cost $0.25 minimum for a DRM free download. Groupees was mentioned and it starts two days from now. GMG has a bunch of $1.99 games here but they're all capsule games.
