Total War games aren't turn based except on the campaign map. There's only multiplayer for the battles not the campaign.

We've played with my friends turn based one as multiplayer, on Shogun 2. If i got it right; there is also "campaign play" via multiplayer.

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri/Alien Crossfire.

It's old, not on Steam, you can get Alpha Centauri on GOG. I have the original CD's for both, I still play it to this day. You can even play by email.

I wish they would develop an Alpha Centauri 2.
