I am really surprised at this point WoW just isn't free for everyone to freely download. They would still make money off expansions as well as membership fees. With the player base getting smaller and smaller and their work going towards other projects, it just makes sense.

Stay far far FAR away from WoW. Nothing good will come from playing it. Game is infested with bots, hackers and trolls. Been playing since vanilla & just recently had enough. I'm proud to say I am now 4 months sober & finally free from that cursed game.

I resubscribed two days ago... queuing for dungeons/LFR takes ages even on popular realms!

Wow (no pun intended), I just checked my email and there it was. I got this too, it must simply be a battlent thing because I played all of 10 minutes of Hearthstone months ago.

They do it once a while, I remember getting some trial years ago for free as well, and I didnt own anything from blizzard, just had the account. As nice as it seems, I dont think its even worth starting WoW at this time, its just too old

Believe they also gave Pandaria to old subscribers too, went and looked at my account and it has it now even though I never bought it.

Here's what I want to know. At the end of the 30 days, will we be expected to buy the games if we want to keep playing? Or did they literally just give away a bunch of free copies for us to own and simply have to keep paying the reup cost every month?

I got one too, but I don't want to pay every month.
