This is what I see when I tried starting it?

I've already got this installed so why can't I start it?

I'm using windows 10 latest build.

Look like it doesn't start because the installer forgot to install a few critical libraries.
You should complain to Epic and/or the publisher about that.

Haven't tried it myself, but I think this is what you need.

It won't let me install.

In fact, I have the 2017 version. Isn't newer better?

Nope, you need the different versions (for whatever reason). In this case you need the 2015 version. I have a bunch of these (several different years) to play various games. Just install the 2015 version and it will work. Doesn't have anything to do with EPIC.

You might just have the 64bit version already. If your still up for it, you could try the x86 version and see if you need that.
Alternatively, if you just wait, I think Epic will fix this probably. But it might take a while.

Try the x86 (32 bit) version.

2017 and 2015 versions are both needed on your computer. But maybe (and I say MAYBE) that the installer of the 2015 version reacts badly to the presence of the 2017 version. Sometimes an older version does not like to be installed after a more recent one. Maybe you can try to uninstall the 2017 versions (both x86 and x64), and then install the 2015 versions (both x86 and x64) and then the 2017 version (both x86 and x64 versions)... just to install them in the correct order.

Here's a link to the latest versions of all VC++ runtimes:

Note that if you are running on a 64-bit OS, you might need to install both x32 and x64 versions of each depending on the game/program.

Ok it works now. I had to uninstall both 2017 versions and then install the 2015 version manually.
