I have not played many games from this year yet but so far I would say The Walking Dead Final Episode.
I know there was a huge scandal about it but from what I have played so far it was fun and as good as the first episode.

I wish it would be Pathfinder:Kingmaker (if all bugs will be patched until the end of 2018)

It wasn't my cup of tea to be honest. If you're looking for a game that really follows the RPG / Adventure meta from SNES / Genesis generation - a basic tutorial to show you the controls and everything else is up to you to discover, messy menus, hard-to-find guides and tips and somewhat grinding systems, then Ringo Ishikawa is a decent game for you. If not, you will get burned like me.
I might go back to it, it's more a personal thing of being too tired and having a back too huge to invest more time and dedication on it.

As i put down for last time I havent really played any games really let alone ones that has been released this year so closest i can get is life is strange before the storm which wasnt fully released with dlc until march of 2018, not really classing dlc but thats the closest im getting to 2018! If i had life is strange 2 though would be that

I don't even think I've gotten any 2018 games yet. I might get Shadow of the Tomb Raider at some point, but being received poorly, I doubt that would be it.
Only games that has gotten some hype was Assassins Creed Odyssey and Monster Hunter World. I will probably go with the latter?

Can't afford neither newly released games nor a PC that would be able to run newly released games :D I'm super-hyped about Cyberpunk 2077 though!

It doesn't, which is good in this case, all time it is evolving, getting better. i didn't yet played that much to say for sure for myself but people say ai got improved in 5 quite much (f example better recruitments even without using mods and much better magic use).
