The Fake Marketing is the best though, 60 FPS videos uploaded showcasing the nvidia effects with gameplay, even selling video cards that can't handle the game at 60 fps is just the icing on the cake.

They were selling GTX 960 - 980 cards with Arkham Knight and Witcher 3 included with the purchase (I was referring to the cards with special promotions that included the game, should have been more elaborate). You would think those would run the game at a constant 60 FPS. NOPE, they can't.

My friend is running the game on an i7, 16gb and GTX 980 with no stuttering or other issues. Not sure on the exact FPS as he removed the 30 cap, but he is thoroughly enjoying it.
Stop trying to run the game on a potato and just go buy a console as it seems better suited for all the complainers.

This argument that people keep giving in these cases is not very good. "Because it works for somebody, no one should be allowed to complain." People have tried playing the game with decent rigs and they still have problems. No need to diss them just because your friend can play the game.

I can vouch for that, as i have a friend with a rig composed of an i7 + 16GB RAM + a 960 and hell if he can run it on constant 60 FPS without stuttering.

We can all assume he meant bundled GPU, but I made a tongue in cheek comment implying that he was using a $20 entry level GPU and then quoted his statement so that he would hopefully realize why I said it. He the clarified that he meant bundled GPU, but still took it as an insult, likely because of no emoticons.
Most people are stating that the game is completely unplayable. Perhaps it is for them, but first sentence of my post is simply stating that it is playable. The second sentence was a joke with some truth because if you don't want to worry about how it runs, consoles would be the better route! If anyone truly got offended, then I apologize for them being sensitive.

I didn't intend on buying the game, so I truthfully haven't done any real research into it or seen that video. All I did was simply state that my friend hasn't complaining about issues, these are his specs, here's a little joke to lighten the mood. Rocksteady did not do the port, they hired an external team which is why it's so horrible compared to AA and AC.
Seriously though, why all the hate for nVidia and Rocksteady? I'd instead be questioning Sony as they clearly paid off the outsourced team and gimp the PC version!

They've pulled the game from stores in order to address issues and I imagine you could get refunds if you've purchased through a legitimate retailer.

I can speak from experience, since I own both the game and a GTX Titan X/ I7 4770K/16gigs ram/SSD setup. The game doesn't have stutter for me, however unlocking the fps is extremely jarring. The cutscenes remain in 30 fps and the framerate inexplicably drops throughout the gameplay (mostly batmobile usage) while looking at various parts of the enviroment. For this reason, I perceive it smoother if I leave it capped at 30 fps then uncapped, especially when it's going to completely drop to 30 everytime there is a scripted event. My second complaint is the missing effects on batman. In the PS4 version you can see raindrops and various other wet effects on his cowl and other parts of his batsuit. In the PC version these are no where to be found. WB, NVIDIA, and IronGalaxy are all guilty and should be ashamed.

What really baffles me is the ridicolously diverse spread of how this game runs on different setups. Me myself removed the fps break, entered max FPS = 120 and besides a little stuttering in some cutscenes with wide and big pan shots the game runs completely fine and looks great (everything Nvidia is turned on).
Others with nearly the exact setup as my rig can't even get this game to work and not crash constantly. I really can't wrap my mind around what the devs must have done here, I really can't.
