Actually, felt this is really a very important question. I tend to, but also get gaming/movie burnouts every now and then, which stops me from enjoying this, which feels like a pain sometimes. Do you spend more time outside or do you just stay indoors during the summer, and, most importantly, how does this affect your purchase of movies/games?

i can't stand the heat so i just stay inside and watch shows etc/play games. luckily it's winter here now, so i can just... stay.. inside.... 🤔 hmm
but yeah i also get burnouts from things i enjoy, which is crazy, right? at least it doesn't really affect my purchase of anything cause i'm poor in summer AND winter :D

I actually spend more time inside than during most other seasons. I dislike the heat and the constant, strong sun - it's not pleasant to be, even less to be active and moving around.

Somewhat less as I make sure to sunbathe on the days I'm not working.
Otherwise, not much different.

The summer is unbearably hot where I live so it's harder to focus on games or movies.
I pirate movies but for games I just buy them when they are cheap so the season doesn't affect my purchase.

I don't really watch movies, but I do end up gaming less during the summer. Not because of the weather, but because I tend to do most of my traveling during the summer months.

During a heatwave, I will watch more movies and series than usual. But genres might vary, I watch more Anime during summer.
Gaming happens somewhat less but usually I just shift it around. No gaming at the desktop but more on the Deck, preferably outside in the morning or late in the evening.

How I spend money is unaffected. 2-3 streaming services, games still get bought as can be seen here. 😅

Probably a bit less in general since in summer theres just more activities to do... just walking outside, going to the sea, riding motorcycle, going fishing. Try to stay active overall, so evenings and weekends tend to be filled with activities. But I still try to play something 30-60min before going to bed.

But I left my work recently and while unemployed I have a bit more time to spend on gaming while looking for a new job. So this summer has a bit more time for gaming. But it tends to level out since my daughter was born 4 months ago and kids take up crazy amounts of time. Luckily she goes to sleep at 8-9pm so I have some time after.

As for buying - not affected by seasons whatsoever. Good deal or bundle, I'll buy it irregardless. TV shows - I only have netflix on subscription and everything else on regular TV both of which are also regular payments irrigardless of time of year

I tend not to think about my prevalence to go outside based on season. Because, for me it's usually quite spontaneous, no matter the season.
In extreme heat or cold period ...yea its logical to stay indoors. But summers or winters in general don't really stop me. My country's weather conditions makes resilience a compulsory trait.
Im either in a mood to get entertained....or im not.
