What tier shall you buy today?
What a scam for german user -.-
No Dead Island....
But 2.23€ with SR 2+3 (sell) are okay for the great first Tier and Killer is Dead too.

so, what does this mean exactly? as a German, i just get less than everyone else for the same price? fuck humble bundle. fuck 'em.
Comment has been collapsed.
sure, but do you think they also force them to do anything possible to prevent us from buying? like checking the payment method? i don't know, i have my doubts about that.
Comment has been collapsed.
believe me, it's not. importing games from other countries is absolutely fine (at the age of 18+). even games with nazis and swastikas.

here in details:
http://www.giantbomb.com/forums/general-discussion-30/banned-videogames-in-germany-513004/
its not "banned" but "indexed" :)
Comment has been collapsed.
did you even read it yourself? ^^ may i quote:
regarding indexed games:
There are ways getting these games, you can import them legaly from the UK, you can buy them online and so on.
regarding banned games:
But even banned games are not that "forbidden", yes you can't legaly import, buy, or sell them. Yet you are allowed to own and play them, there won't be a squad of german police special forces busting trough your window when you play Manhunt over here in germany.

this is what i wanted to tell :)

not sure, what you want to tell me. this doesn't change what i wrote about german laws. Valve removed those, because they don't have an age verification system, so a 13 year old could buy those games on steam. that doesn't mean adults are not allowed to buy those games here. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
i just mean that everything is rather vague in Germany - on one hand they want to stay free country where everything is allowed,
on other hand they have their laws, and etc etc
you wrote "you can't legally import" but "you are allowed to own" - this is already a breach in a system that one people use and other pretend they don't see :)
in fact, we're both speaking about same reality, using same facts, the only difference is that i try to accent existing limits and prohibitions and you showing breaches and possibilities, that, however, do not make all those system limitations disappear

well, as most other countries we don't have an anarchy here. ^^

no, i did not write that. i wrote this:

and i quoted this:
But even banned games are not that "forbidden", yes you can't legaly import, buy, or sell them.
and while i am writing this, i notice that this guy wrote "can't", not "can". ^^ this is not correct. you can legally import/buy those games. the only one who might act in a illegal way is the company who sells the game to you. but that really doesn't matter, if the company doesn't reside in germany. you as a customer can buy those games without any problems. it's absolutely legal.
in fact, we're both speaking about same reality, using same facts, the only difference is that i try to accent existing limits and prohibitions and you showing breaches and possibilities, that, however, do not make all those system limitations disappear
well, the problems mostly arise from overly careful publishers. there are 2 categories of games. the violent games, and the banned ones with swastikas and so on. the violent ones should not be a problem at all. they can be sold here to adults. the publishers just have to make sure that kids can't buy them. and i actually agree with that law. kids should not be able to buy everything. i mean, would you accept that your child can buy porn everywhere? probably not. i think the same can apply to extremely violent games. i think it's pretty ok that we have a law that makes sure kids don't buy those games. a big problem here is steam. it doesn't have an age verification system. meaning it sells all its games to kids. the second big problem are the publishers who think they have to prevent adults from buying outside germany. that's of course bullshit. they could just not sell those games here, or sell a low-violence version, while not actively preventing imported games from running. the same basically applies to banned games, with the exception that they can't sell the uncut version at all. as for adults and imports, the absolute same reasoning can be applied.
what i want to say is, that the main problem are not even the laws, but how publishers interprete them and how overly and unnecessarily protective they act. they prevent adults from playing their games in order to falsely obey laws that are in place for youth protection, not for adult protection. ^^

yes, and you're not the only person with this problem: https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/Rm5bO/humble-bundle-deep-silver-2-bundle-region-locked/search?page=3#CDu9Dye
PS: if you don't add that one cent, do you still see the "you will not receive SR4 bla bla" message and not the BTA one?

Killer is Dead is a great game and I highly recommend it. But I am a Suda51 fan boy :P.

Any idea what that new game of his was called? The one that was originally Lily Bergamo then was rerevealed as something not that lol.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yep that was it, thanks. Says it is actually suppose to be released this year but I don't think I see anything new since it's name change. I am going to have to check up to see if there's anything new on it later.

Wtf indeed, it should be locked to one region... O_o

Want Risen 2 & Killer is Dead, been looking for ages to get Dead Island: Riptide, but also already own Saints Row: The Third, and Dead Island....
Have no particular interest in Sacred 3 or Risen.
What do you say, buy or no buy, guys?
Btw, how are these games region locked if I live in EU 2 region, who can activate them?
Comment has been collapsed.
its region locked for the buyer only, so if you buy it in NA, only ppl in NA can activate it
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, for EU though, will it work for all European countries (as there are EU and EU 2) except Germany because they can't even buy some of them it seems.

Tier 1 as i don't own any of it, but not more with these *** region locks.
Comment has been collapsed.
tier 1 is not region locked to south america (I'm getting "retail" copies which is unexpected to region lock content).
Comment has been collapsed.
Hmm thanks for the info!
I wonder what about BTA ._.
Comment has been collapsed.
the only one that I didn't activate was dead island, so not sure about that one... the other ones are all "retail" or "EU".
Comment has been collapsed.
Does that mean I can create ROW GAs from the tier 1 games?
Comment has been collapsed.
except for dead island... dead island tend to be BRL (one friend of mine shared that his key comes with a "BR" description)
Comment has been collapsed.
More details about South America region lock... I'm from Brazil and games activated as:
Dead Island GOTY (NA)
Dead Island Riptide Complete Edition (BR)
Killer is Dead (BR)
(Not sure about Saint Row The Third, still wondering if I'll redeem it just for the DLCs.)
