i am not completely sure, but i believe without mobile auth you have the 15 day trade lock. no matter if you have email auth or not.

(someone please correct me, if i am wrong here ^^)

Yup, that is correct. Also email auth can't be disabled, unless you have mobile auth.

you can just completely disable Steam Guard, right? at least you could do that in the past.

I suppose so. I can't tell for sure though, something might have been changed. But even in the past you couldn't trade without it.

frustating me...

yeah, i can imagine. 7 days for market, right? that's so ridiculous. you want to sell something for 10 cents and have to wait a week for your money. ^^

It's actually 15 days.
And worse than that, it's not list it, wait 15 days for money... it's list it, wait 15 days for the listing to activate.

Meaning:
1) You are psychic and perfectly predicted 15 days in ... oh wait, wont happen.
2) Severly undercut, please try again in 15 days.
3) Prices raised, enjoy being ripped off for an insanely low price.

yes, I use it and it can make market listings for you.
Even better, it can auto confirm all posted items.

However, you will have a 15 day wait period first when you switch to this authenticator.

+1 for WinAuth beta. I've been using it for the past couple of months (thank you to advice on here) and it works a treat.

Is it possible to authenticate on several distant computers with these softwares ?
I mean I have 2 computers that I connect on the same Steam account, and they are far one from the other, is it possible to synchronize one of these softwares on the 2 computers ?

WinAuth or Steam Desktop Authenticator. Both were linked already in the thread. If you trade sometimes, WinAuth is better on the account that for me SDA stopped working for trade confirmations. (On four computers with four separate downloads on them, so it seems to be universal on my account with it). But it is easier and faster to get the code from it (the code is selectable and there is a copy button, whereas WinAuth needs you to manually set up code generation and only right-click copy is available).

+1 for WinAuth

Works perfectly fine :)

[Only the Beta (3.4.24 latest version) offers the confirmation of the market-listing atm, though]
