Basically, Hit his goal. Lied repeatedly, then Ignored his backers until they started contacting outside sources. He started working on other projects long before he delivered to the backers.

Old email that I don't have access to, but hat it was coming, dates always changed (and eventually dropped off completely, until one day it was just there) I know backers for physical rewards were never compensated or even talked to. Of course, there was never a WiiU release either. But also, while par for the course for Kickstarter, this was before tthey changed their rules. I backed a small amount, as I tried to back anything that wanted a WiiU release.

It wasn't "free" per say. If you owned Terablaster or Ruzh Delta Z before, the dev added Overture to your account. Found this out the other day lol

ITAD doesn't always track when I game has been free; for example, Two Worlds: Epic Edition has been free before but it has a lowest recorded price of $1.49 because the giveaway wasn't on a storefront; it will only record 0.00 if it's on the front of a storepage (I.E. if it's free on Steam or Amazon or something) and not if it's in a gleam, key drop, etc.

And 0.00 doesn't necessarily mean something was free. That's a glitch that usually happens just before a game is first released on a storefront. ITAD picks up on the fact that data has been entered on a site before the game goes live, and reads the price as 0.00, but it never was actually that price. It happens at other times because games are disabled from sale temporarily, and to ITAD, it looks like the game was free.

It was never been given for free on a massive basis before, but those who had Ruzh Delta Z or Terablaster before these went Free to Play are granted Overture for free.

Isn't Overture given for free to those who had Terablaster or Ruzh Delta Z before they went Free to Play, both of which have already been given for free on a massive basis? So should Overture be counted as free game if someone uses the old Terablaster or Ruzh Delta Z keys for the giveaways? (Right now it still isn't being counted as free game, but don't know if the old Terablaster or Ruzh Deta Z keys still work)

SteamGifts only counts free games that can be exploited via keys or gifts. Free games obtained directly via Steam that can only be activated on your own account and not gifted or saved for later do not count as free.
So, for example, games that are given free because you already own another game or games that are temporarily made free directly on Steam are not free for the purposes of SG determining whether they should be removed. The issue for SG is exploitation and cv abuse, not free in and of itself.
Overture was given directly via Steam and not via keys.

The way they grants Overture for free to the owner of the two games is that the publisher adds the Overture game app to the old Terablaster and Ruzh Delta Z Store or CD key subs, and the subid being 72251 and 67636. When you activate a key, what you activate onto your account is a package, or called "sub".
So what that means is when you have an old Terablaster or Ruzh Delta Z key, it corresponds to the package 72251 or 67636, not appid 384150 or 343100. Once the publisher makes any change to the package--such as adding another app to it, it will be reflected in the old keys too. This way if you activate an old key of either of the two keys now, you will get Overture as well.

I see. Well, that's a special edge case, since the original game keys can't be given away here, and Overture itself is not being directly given away for free. I suppose that someone could put up a giveaway for Overture using a Terablaster or Ruzh Delta Z key, but that would be a risk. If SG hasn't pulled it then they've decided that it doesn't rise to the level of potential abuse.
