Well, another bundle that will not reach my library purchase... Saving money!

I'd love to convince myself that I'll buy these and turn into a super-game developer, but in reality I know I'll just opt to keep playing Hitman and these will sit there unused, forever. So I'm gonna save my bucks.

Interesting for sure but I'm gonna pass. Cryengine is sweet as hell and all but I'm no dev. I am, in fact, pretty damn far from having any idea of what to do with any of this and I'm going to be honest. Even if I'd really like to learn, I never will. Really great for anyone who can/ will take advantage of it though.

Turns out to be rather underwhelming. Some info for those interested:

Majority of models are in Autodesk formats (mostly .ma/.mb, some .max). Textures with .psd or in common image formats. Sound assets come in form of .wav files, VO sounds are probably rather bad (from what I've read around). All around, it's lacking at best, it's clearly targeted for use with Cryengine templates that are part of this bundle. It certainly isn't some general use library of textures/models, we're talking about single scene.

As far as licensing goes, I'm not sure that you can use assets from Ryse packs outside of Cryengine, same goes for mocap data. Files under Madison Pike should be ok, license with list of packs it covers here: http://pastebin.com/Jc4YAeGt

tl;dr From what I've seen, it's only for those who want to get some tutorial material for start with Cryengine.

I don't use CryEngine, but additional no-license Tree and Props are always great.
Weapon Pack sound nice, though, might shoot for Tier 3.
