PSA? Tradable gift that says it has no region lock, but really does. Gift trading might be best now?

I know the title makes almost no sense
Valve fucked up. I don't know how many cases are like this, or if it's just this game, or if it's many others. But this is shit is dumb.

So here's the deal, my game says it has no region lock, but it really does.
(The pictures in this post will be clickys just to make things a little easier)

Let's start from the beginning, awhile ago I traded for a game, and it mentioned no region lock at all.

Here's a picture a pic of it in my inventory. It's region locked, even though it doesn't say it. Odd right?

Because this game says it has a region lock(although it fails to mention what countries you can even redeem it in.

So awhile ago when I tried to send the game to my winner, I was informed that it was region locked, they sent me a picture and everything although it was in a different language, so I took it to my alt kinda/friend's account to get a better picture.. There it actually shows that the game is region locked, even though in my inventory it doesn't.

I even tried to trade a friend to see if it mentioned the region lock, to see if maybe I didn't notice, and NOPE no mention at all about the the region lock.

tldr; This is pretty much a warning for trading now. It's sad, that in a way, gift trading is actually safer, because you will be informed of the region locks and such, unlike a regular trade. (Unless this is somehow just a glitch and only effects Jumpjet Rex. I would be interested to know if there are more cases like this.)

Why is trading so fucked up now...
